WELCOME TO MY NEW HOME

To the next four months in Prague...

I can’t believe I’m actually saying it…I live in Prague. I can’t even begin to explain how thankful and grateful I am for this experience and excited for what this semester will bring. I am overjoyed to be able to share it with all of you, many of whom being the reasons I get to experience this amazing journey. I have only been here for a week, but I can confidently say it should be on everyone’s must-see list. It is the most beautiful and unique city I have ever been lucky enough to travel to.

The architecture, the food, the shopping (dangerous, already) and the people are extraordinary and genuinely beautiful. From the first moment I stepped on the cobble stone streets in the beautiful and rainy night, I could tell this city was unlike anything I had experienced before yet seemed to have the culmination of all the beautiful architecture I had seen in so many cities prior. Each street brings you to something more beautiful than the last. It is truly a dream land and living here has undoubtedly fulfilled one of my wildest dreams.

This world is such a unique and phenomenal place with each new place bringing more lessons and perspectives than I could ever imagine. Immersing myself into this new culture has shown me just how wonderful the world is and how much it has to offer. I have already learned so many things about not only this city but myself. It was incredibly terrifying, don’t get me wrong, but so unbelievably worth it. Your comfort zone is your coffin, or so they say, and I have never related with that more than now. Jump out of your comfort zone and you will be rewarded, I promise.

I am so excited to share this part of my life with you as it has already changed me and my life forever. Stay tuned for more of my travels, lessons and trying to learn Czech ;). OH and of course, always be kind.
